TransGrid offers employment opportunities in Trade Training (apprenticeships), Graduates, Traineeships, Administration, Engineering and Information Technology. When a position requires external advertising, it is advertised in the local newspaper for where the vacancy exists. These employment notices are also available on this web site. Employment conditions are specified in TransGrid's current Employees Award.
Applicants applying for positions must:
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (with exception to current New Zealand passport holders); and
- Have relevant Australian educational institution qualifications or have had their overseas qualifications assessed by the Department of Education & Training or the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition as determined by the essential requirements in the job advertisement.
