Coffs Harbour 330/132 kV Substation

The North Coast Region of New South Wales continues to experience strong load growth. To meet this growth, a new 330/132kV substation has been constructed by TransGrid.

Coffs Harbour 330/132 kV substation was completed in July 2006 at a total cost of $25.4 million.

The new substation is located adjacent to the existing Coffs Harbour 132/66kV substation, approximately 10 kilometres west of Coffs Harbour city. The new substation connects into the existing 330 kV and 132kV networks in the area and provides additional electrical capacity to the region.
