Property Information Inquiry Service
TransGrid provides Property Information Inquiries services to purchasers of land or their representatives under the Conveyancing (Sale of Land) Regulation 1995.
Our extensive database allows us to provide information on whether TransGrid has any interest, current or as part of an approved proposal that would affect the title of the land.
TransGrid has registered its interests with the Central Register of Restrictions (CRR), within the Department of Lands, Land and Property Information NSW. The CRR has been designed to provide a single point of inquiry for prospective purchases in relation to Government agency interests. I t is requested that, where possible, inquiries be lodged through property inquiry firms with online access to the CRR. A list of these information brokers can be obtained by visiting the
Department of Lands
website.
Making an Inquiry
Property Information Inquiry forms are available from the Department of Lands. Inquiries made directly to TransGrid should be made using this form. If the subject land is part of a recent subdivision a plan should be attached to the application form.
Costs and Payment
The cost of an inquiry directly to TransGrid is $29, inclusive of any applicable GST. Payment can be made by cheque or money order payable to TransGrid.
