Wollar to Wellington Project Commences

The Wollar to Wellington project is part of TransGrid's $1.2 billion infrastructure program to maintain world-class reliability in the state's electricity system.

The project involves the construction of a 330kV transmission line running from Wollar to Wellington, ensuring safe and reliable power supply to the area will continue, supporting ongoing growth in the region.

After thorough consultation with the community, approval was granted for this project, and work is due to commence March 2008.

The project is planned for completion by May 2009.
