Yass to Wagga Project Commences

The Yass to Wagga project is a part of TransGrid?s $1.2 billion infrastructure program to maintain world class reliability in the state?s electricity system.

TransGrid is about to begin reconstructing a 132kV transmission line that runs between substations in Yass and Wagga.

Work will start in early March 2008. The project is planned for completion by March 2009.
