TransGrid

TransGrid has a Corporate Sponsorships, Partnerships and Donations Program.  Any sponsorships, partnerships or donation arrangements that TransGrid enters into are aligned with our objectives and values, as well as balancing our business, social and environmental responsibilities.

TransGrid’s Corporate Sponsorships, Partnerships and Donations Program has a strategic and a local component.

The principles for strategic sponsorhips and partnership initiatives are that they should:

  • Support or contribute to the wellbeing of communities throughout NSW.
  • Work with not-for-profit organisations or other relevant organisations that have a presence across NSW.
  • Support communities in the long-term.
  • Contribute to issues of primary importance within communities where TransGrid works.

Initiatives that fall within the local component are often short-term in nature and focus on regional sponsorship or corporate donations.

TransGrid assesses each sponsorship and partnership opportunity against its ability to:

  • Demonstrate a tangible connection with TransGrid’s values and Corporate Sponsorship Policy.
  • Provide economically, socially or environmentally sustainable outcomes for the community or communities in which it is to occur.
  • Make a tangible and measurable contribution within the region or to a project.
  • Reach TransGrid’s key stakeholders and audiences and not replicate existing sponsorship activity.
  • Provide mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Involve a reputable not-for-profit organisation or local community initiative.
  • Provide opportunities for staff involvement and communication.
