We have prepared a Strategic Network Development Plan to help give an understanding of how short-term electricity transmission network developments are aimed to be consistent with longer term trends in electricity usage and strategic plans for transmission development.
The Strategic Network Development Plan helps TransGrid to identify key future substation sites and line route segments that may need to be secured early to ensure practical and efficient development of the network.
