At approximately 5.00am this morning an interruption to electricity supply occurred in Dural, affecting residents and businesses in the region.
Areas affected include Hornsby, Pennant Hills and Berowra.
The fault is believed to have affected electricity supplies to approximately 50,000 homes on EnergyAustralia’s network in the area.
TransGrid staff have arrived on site and are working to identify the cause of the fault.
At this stage, the cause of the fault is unknown. It is expected that the cause will be identified within the next 30 minutes together with likely restoration times.
