Site Details

Each site will need different project works based on the existing facilities at the location. Individual environmental assessments will be carried out for all sites, which will include an examination of potential impacts to the community.

Merriwa

An upgrade to our communication network has been completed for the area north west of Merriwa as of March 2010. The project required the installation of a telecommunications compound, a 25 metre concrete pole, a new access track network suitable for wet weather and associated earthworks. The works also involved the installation of fencing and security installations and vegetation clearing, slashing and maintenance.

Wollar

An upgrade to our communication network has been completed for the area south east of Wollar as of May 2010. The project required the installation of a telecommunications compound, a 30 metre concrete pole and associated earthworks. The works also involve the installation of fencing and security installations, and minor vegetation clearing.

 Currawarna

An upgrade to our communication network has been completed at Currawarna as of May 2010. The project included the installation of a telecommunications compound, a 60 metre steel lattice tower, access track works and associated earthworks. The works also involved the installation of fencing and security installations, and vegetation clearing, slashing and maintenance.

Hawk Hill

An upgrade to our communication network has been completed at Hawk Hill as of May 2010. The project included the installation of a telecommunications compound, an 80 metre steel lattice tower, access track works and associated earthworks. Fencing and security installations were required along with vegetation clearing, slashing and maintenance.

Mount Darling

An upgrade to our communication network has been completed at Mount Darling as of September 2010. The project included the installation of a telecommunications compound, a 30 metre concrete pole, access track works and associated earthworks. The works also required the installation of fencing and security installations, and vegetation clearing, slashing and maintenance.

Parkes

An upgrade to our communications network is plroposed for North West Parkes. The proposed works will involve the installation of a 30 metre concrete pole, the extension of the existing switchyard and modification the site security fencing. Vegetation management may also be needed to ensure the safe operation and construction of the communications pole.
  

A Review of Environmental Factors has been finalised and the works are scheduled for completion on February 2011.

Molong

An upgrade to our communication network has been completed at Molong as of September 2010. The works required the installation of a telecommunications compound, a 20 metre concrete pole, access track works and associated earthworks. The works also required the installation of fencing and security installations, and vegetation clearing, slashing and maintenance.

An upgrade to our communication network is proposed at Murrumburrah Substation, five kilometres west of the township. The proposed works will involve the installation of a telecommunications compound, a 15 metre concrete pole, access track works and associated earthworks. The works will also involve the installation of fencing and security installations, and vegetation clearing, slashing and maintenance.

The proposed works will require the installation of a telecommunications compound, a 40 metre concrete pole, access track works and associated earthworks. The works will also involve the installation of fencing and security installations, and vegetation clearing, slashing and maintenance.
  

Environmental studies have been finalised and the upgrade is expected to completed by February 2011.

Coonambro

An upgrade to our communication network is proposed at Mt Coonambro, Cookamidgera. The proposed works will involve the installation of a telecommunications compound, a 60 metre steel lattice tower, access track works and associated earthworks. The works will also involve the installation of fencing and security installations, and vegetation clearing, slashing and maintenance.
  

A Review of Environmental Factors has been finalised and the upgrade is expected to be completed by April 2011.
