Our BeSafeKids primary school program aims to teach school students about:

  • The importance of staying safe around electricity and our assets
  • The history of electricity
  • Importance of being committed to the environment
  • What we do.

The program targets schools where we are actively working in the community, either building new assets or upgrading existing assets.

Following a short classroom presentation, a field trip to a nearby TransGrid asset or an environment activity such as planting trees at the school can be arranged.

Our long standing partnership with Greening Australian provides the supply of trees and planting equipment.

Our BeSafeKids program is free and can be presented to one classroom or the whole school.

How do I organise a visit?

If you would like a visit from our friendly staff to your local school, please contact our Community Engagement Team by email, or on 1800 222 537.
