September Consumer Operating Expenditure Forum

​In September 2013, TransGrid held a Consumer Operating Expenditure Forum to continue the conversation about our Five Year Business Plan and Revenue Proposal.

The three hour session walked the attendees through discussion on operating expenditure, TransGrid’s network vision and our methods for engagement moving forward. The key objective of the day was to reach a shared understanding of the changing energy market and to work towards stronger links with the NSW community. An external consultant was engaged to facilitate two way conversation between TransGrid and the community representatives.

Despite much effort, attendance wasn’t as TransGrid had hoped so we revisited our engagement plan, running both a successful Consumer Advisory Workshop and Large Energy Users Roundtable in November 2013. These are scheduled to meet again in April 2014.
