2018 -2023 Revenue Determination

In January 2017, TransGrid submitted our 2018/19-2022/23 Revenue Proposal to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER), marking an important step in the revenue determination process that will come into effect on 1 July, 2018.

Developing the Revenue Proposal in collaboration with stakeholders

The Proposal has been shaped by insights from a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure we balance the needs of customers, consumers and shareholders.

Our Stakeholder Engagement Summary Report includes an in-depth breakdown of our engagement program and captures insights that have helped shape the Proposal.

Next steps in the revenue determination process

The AER is required to determine TransGrid’s revenue allowance for the regulatory control period, commencing 1 July 2018. Over the next few months the AER will review the submission and prepare a draft determination. The AER expects to make its draft decision in September 2017. Further information related to the process and key dates can be found on the Regulated Revenue Determination page of our website.
