“We are pleased to announce that Albury and Wagga Wagga have been selected to be part of our 2015 Community Partnerships Program,” TransGrid’s Community Relations Officer, Sarah Hafez said.
“The program is part of our ongoing commitment to build positive relationships with our local communities and support community initiatives.”
Now in its fourth year, TransGrid’s Community Partnerships Program provides funding for initiatives that deliver lasting benefits to communities.
To date, the program has delivered almost $200,000 in grants to support local initiatives across New South Wales.
“Community groups and organisations in Albury and Wagga Wagga are encouraged to apply,” Ms Hafez added.
Preference will be given to initiatives which improve or promote at least one of the following areas:
- Public safety or wellbeing
- The environment.
Applications close 5pm on Thursday 9th April 2015.
