Facility Services Maintenance Review

We're looking at changing the way we procure facility maintenance services and are seeking feedback from current and potential suppliers to help refine our future procurement strategy.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to ascertain the capabilities of Respondents in the market willing to provide a range of Facilities Services to the Principal.

These services may include cleaning, ground maintenance (mowing/slashing), herbicide application, pest control, air-conditioning maintenance, plumbing, sewerage, electrical, security, waste removal and general building maintenance.

TransGrid will consider responses from individual service providers for a specific location, individual service providers for multiple locations or a Contractor who can provide multiple types of services across single or multiple locations across the state.

Respondents are encouraged to detail any viable option of all or some of the services and at all or some of the specified locations, that they believe TransGrid could consider irrespective of whether it's in strict compliance with the stated technical requirements. It is the Principal's intention to consolidate as many of these functions and period orders as possible, in line with a centralised business model and to ensure the most cost effective solution for the business.

Next steps

The information gathered from this RFI will be assessed and used in the establishment of a sourcing strategy for facilities maintenance services over the next three to five years.

The Principal may use the Tenderers who respond to this RFI as a basis for developing a selective list to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ's) for individual services or a group of services.

The RFI Quotation package may be downloaded from TransGrid's e-Tendering website.

If you have not already registered with Tenderlink you can do so as a new user (for particular categories of work) at https://www.tenderlink.com/transgrid  and click on the Registration Tab.
