Biography

Rudy Sheriff was appointed to the Transgrid Board in 2026.

 

Rudy is a senior infrastructure executive with a strong focus on governance, strategy, risk and capital management. He has more than 20 years’ experience across the energy, water, telecommunications, roads and resources sectors.

 

Rudy is Managing Director of Spark Infrastructure, where he leads the investment platform and works closely with boards and management teams across major electricity network businesses including Transgrid, SA Power Networks and Victoria Power Networks. His responsibilities include strategic direction, capital allocation, major project oversight and securityholder engagement.

 

Prior to joining Spark Infrastructure in 2024, Rudy held Senior Executive and Chief Financial Officer roles across several Tier 1 organisations in the engineering, construction and services markets, including UGL, Ventia, Indara and Saunders International.

 

He also sits on the Board of SA Power Networks and is a member of the Risk Committee.

 

Rudy holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Certified Practising Accountant.
