HumeLink Construction Reference Groups

What is a Construction Reference Group?

Transgrid has established three Construction Reference Groups (CRGs) along the HumeLink alignment. These groups help maintain open communication between Transgrid, our delivery partners and the community throughout project construction. 

The first CRG meetings took place in December 2025 and will be held quarterly for the life of the project. These meetings give members the chance to share feedback on construction progress, road usage and communication methods. Insights from these discussions are helping shape how we deliver the project in partnership with local communities.

Coverage Areas

Three CRGs have been formed along the HumeLink alignment: East, Central and West. Each group includes up to 12 members, representing a mix of community representatives, local councils, business groups, First Nations representatives and other key stakeholder organisations.
