Transgrid is establishing Construction Reference Groups (CRGs) to maintain communication between Transgrid, our delivery partners and the community throughout the HumeLink project construction. These groups ensure local voices are heard and community concerns are addressed as the project progresses.
The CRGs will meet regularly and operate for the life of the project, starting from Q4 2025.
Receive regular construction updates and provide feedback on areas of community interest such as work hours, road use and construction notifications.
Direct notification of upcoming activities and construction schedules.
Stay updated on progress with community investment and project legacy contributions along the corridor.
Provide feedback to Transgrid's community and stakeholder engagement approaches.
Represent community interests in discussions with Transgrid and delivery partners.
Three CRGs will be established along the HumeLink alignment. Each group will have a maximum of 12 members, comprising of two community representatives alongside local council members, business groups, First Nations representatives and other key stakeholder organisations.
