The purpose of TransGrid's Power System Safety Rules is to keep workers safe when they are exposed to the hazards of working on a transmission network.
The rules apply to TransGrid infrastructure including substations, overhead lines, high voltage cables, and communication facilities. The rules apply to all TransGrid staff and contractors undertaking work on our network.
Below is the list of documents associated with the application of the Power System Safety rules. In addition to these documents, our staff and contractors are also expected to adhere to the requirements of Legislation, Codes of Practise or Guidelines.
