Biography

Luís is the Head of Utilities at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), based in Abu Dhabi, and is responsible for the global utilities strategy, portfolio and asset management.

 

In addition to his role at Transgrid, Luís serves as a Director of Anglian Water Group, as a member of the Open Grid Europe Supervisory Board, and as a shareholder representative at First Energy Transmission.

 

Prior to joining ADIA in 2016, Luís previously held roles with GIB, Hudson Clean Energy Partners and Goldman Sachs.

 

Luís holds a degree in Management and Business Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and studied at Bocconi University.
