TransGrid has published it’s 2019/20 Annual Review: Leading the Energy Transition.
05 November 2020
This Annual Review demonstrates TransGrid’s ability to persevere in the face of immense challenge, and captures the significant achievements of our past performance and the great potential of our future.
People are our most valuable assets and as such the business has been focused on the health and well-being of our employees, particularly in this year of great change and uncertainty.
Despite the extraordinary nature of the year with COVID-19 and bushfires, we can be proud of how our business has remained agile and our people have performed our critical role, whilst also advancing plans to deliver safe, reliable electricity at the lowest possible cost to customers.
"TransGrid will play a collaborative and central role in driving the transition to a more robust and sustainable national electricity market," Jerry Maycock – Chairman.
TransGrid is well placed to meet current and future challenges. As a founding signatory to the Energy Charter, we released our first disclosure painting a full picture of our performance against the Charter principles and reaffirmed our commitment to deliver more for customers. We are also well positioned, given the right conditions, to provide vital economic stimulus to the national and regional economies, through delivering a pipeline of major projects.
This Annual Review showcases our business achievements over the last financial year, and is testament to our commitment to maintaining continuity of the electricity supply to the communities we serve.
