Transgrid welcomes the NSW Government’s electricity infrastructure roadmap

The rapid transition of our energy system to meet customer needs presents a monumental challenge for everyone in the energy sector – one we must get right.

Today’s announcement gives a clear signal that NSW will be at the forefront of the clean energy future which will mean significant job and investment opportunities for communities across the state.

TransGrid is playing a critical role in the energy transition by planning and delivering a grid which is better connected and is able to meet our energy needs for the 21st century.  We are proud to be working alongside the NSW Government to deliver Australia’s first integrated renewable energy zone in the state’s Central West Orana region and look forward to the rollout of further renewable energy zones in NSW.
