TransGrid welcomes the NSW Government’s Electricity Strategy as it will accelerate the approval of new transmission infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable and affordable power for customers.

TransGrid Services (TGS) is delighted to announce that it recently achieved financial close on its inaugural debt financing transaction. The $355 million five-year debt facility has been provided by ANZ, BNP Paribas, Mizuho, RBC Capital Markets and Societe Generale.

The public is now able to access details of TransGrid’s annual compliance and bushfire reporting on the organisation’s website. The reports provide general information about the performance of TransGrid’s Electricity Network Safety Management System (ENSMS).

The Commonwealth and New South Wales Governments have today announced joint-underwriting of up to $102 million to support the construction upgrade of the NSW–Queensland Interconnector (QNI) by TransGrid, the manager and operator of the high voltage transmission network in NSW and the ACT.

The disclosure statement reflects TransGrid’s performance against the principles of the Charter, and highlights work being done to improve outcomes for customers and energy consumers.
